Robert “Bobby” Scott
U.S. Navy & U.S. Army · 1993–2017 · 24 Years of Active-Duty Service
Bobby Scott gave 24 years to his country in uniform. He began in the United States Navy (1993–1997) as a Machinist’s Mate aboard the aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71), then served two decades in the United States Army (1997–2017) as a 68W Combat Medic, deploying to Iraq and retiring at the rank of Sergeant First Class (E-7). Today he leads the Veterans Assistance Commission of Macoupin County as Superintendent and a NACVSO-accredited Veterans Service Officer — a Veteran serving Veterans, helping local families secure the federal, state, and county benefits they earned.

We are Veterans serving Veterans — accredited Service Officers who help the County’s Veterans, families, and survivors secure the federal, state, and County benefits they earned.
